Dog enclosure FAQ’s

How do I get to the enclosure?

When you arrive at Itchen Valley, park in the first car park on the right of the drive, approximately 30m from the ANPR barrier entry. At the far end of the carpark, you will see a signed path to the enclosure- please be aware, the footpath crosses the bridleway, look out for horses and keep all dogs on lead until inside the enclosure.

The enclosure is padlocked, and you will receive an email on the day of your booking which contains your padlock code for entry. The code is changed regularly, please do not share your code with other people.

Are banned breeds allowed?

As the enclosure is in a public area, we cannot allow banned breeds to be in the dog enclosure off-lead or without a muzzle.

How many dogs are allowed in the enclosure?

The enclosure is designed for training and safe off-lead time for your dog and only you know how your dog behaves around other dogs. For this reason, we suggest that only dogs from the same household should be in the enclosure together.

Is there water available in the enclosure?

There is no fresh water available in the enclosure. There are water bowls and taps located around the marketplace and café, however we suggest owners bring water provision for their pets, especially in warmer weather

What is in the enclosure?

The enclosure is a secure woodland space with a short path network and a tunnel. Plenty of sniffs and sights for all. We will be adding informal agility pieces throughout 2025. There is a poo bin located by the entrance to the enclosure.
